Description
Spiraea Goldfire has golden yellow foliage in spring and summer and is on fire in autumn with its fiery orange-red foliage. Goldfire offers three seasons of visual interest! In spring, Goldfire shows many white flowers that attract pollinators and butterflies. The habit is upright with arching branches, giving it a ‘fountain-like’ and graceful effect. This beauty grows to about 1.5 – 2m high and wide and is great for landscaping, gardens, borders and as a hedge. Goldfire is an easy to grow shrub that is drought, cold and heat tolerant. Plant Goldfire in the sun or semi-shade in a well-drained soil. Pruning can be done to shape but is not necessary. Hardy to -18 ºC.
