Heesters

Description

A very compact Perovskia with extra big flowers. This is what the creator of Perovskia atriplicifolia ‘Lacey Blue’ ambitiously aimed for. The result is spectacular!
Lacey Blue blooms with large, blue-purple flowers in summer and autumn. Its charming flower panicles have a delightful fragrance. Underneath the wealth of flowers, its attractive, deeply-incised foliage catches the eye. And did you know that even the leaves give off a pleasant aroma?
Lacey Blue has an exceptionally compact size of 40 cm high and 20 cm wide. This makes this Russian Sage a perfect fit for both small and large gardens. Lacey Blue is a great choice for combined planting in a container, as a solitary, in perennial borders and for mass planting.
This gorgeous Perovskia prefers a sunny spot in well-drained soil. Prune after flowering to stimulate new growth. Lacey Blue is not sensitive to diseases and winter hardy tot -12° Celsius.
