Morus rotundiloba BonBonBerry® Mojo Berry ('Matsunaga'PBR) EU 51394

Shrubs

Description

Morus Mojo Berry gives fruits on old ánd new wood, meaning you can be picking mulberries within the first year as opposed to the usual 5 or 6 years it takes most other mulberries. This dwarf, compact variety only reaches a height of approximately 1.5m (compared to normal mulberries that can reach up to 6-8m in height) making it suitable for any garden. Unlike other varieties that only produce fruit over a 3-week period towards the end of summer, Mojo Berry produces berries over a very long period, from May right through until September. The fruits are great to use for jam, cake or other dishes. Plant Mojo Berry in a fertile, well-drained soil in a place in the sun. Can be pruned in the spring. Mojo Berry is beautiful as solitary on terrace or patio but also in the border or a mixed container. Hardy to -10 ºC.
