Caryopteris clandonensis Grand Bleu® ('Inoveris'PBR) EU 7296

Heesters

Description

Caryopteris Grand Bleu® is considered by many as the very best Blue Mist shrub available at the moment. This compact Caryopteris adds a blast of late summer and autumn colour: looking its best when most flowering plants are done for the season. Not only are the flowers good-looking - the fresh-looking foliage will steal the show all spring and summer long.

This beautiful shrub has a uniform, rounded habit full of glossy green foliage covered in intense blue-purple flowers from midsummer until the first frost. The bright blue colours and compact flowering habit make Grand Bleu® create a showier display than other cultivars. Caryopteris Grand Bleu® is an easy grower with many applications and works incredibly well in large containers, landscapes, shrub borders, or solitary. While all other flowering plants are done for the season, Grand Bleu® will continue to attract pollinators from far and wide to the landscape.

How to care for Caryopteris Grand Bleu®:
Grand Bleu® is very easy to grow and will create the most stunning displays. Grand Bleu® becomes about 80 cm high and 60 cm wide and prefers a place in full sun in fertile, well-permeable soil. Grand Bleu® can be pruned back in March to promote extra abundant flowering. Hardy to -18 °C.
