Abelia grandiflora 'Kaleidoscope' PBR EU 25403

Heesters

Description

The name gives it away: Abelia Kaleidoscope is meant to bring colour into your life. This evergreen shrub is immensely popular, mainly due to its unique seasonal colouration. This glossy abelia starts the year with a combination of glossy yellow and green foliage, which only intensifies during the summer months. As autumn approaches, deep shades of red and orange emerge, contrasting beautifully with the small, white-pink flowers.

This Abelia plant will undoubtedly add a splash of colour to borders and is a fantastic pick for the low-maintenance garden: no pruning needed!

Kaleidoscope has a bushy habit and is evergreen at a temperature of max. -10 °C. It is hardy to -15 °C and can be placed in full sun, preferably in fertile, well-drained soil. The plant can grow up to 120 cm wide and 75 cm high.
