Description

Mahonia Sweet Winter has beautiful, dark green, fine foliage without the usual sharp spines. The new shoots are bronze. Sweet Winter blooms in the winter with large, yellow flower clusters. After flowering the dark blue berries appear. This Mahonia stays compact and becomes about 1 m high and 1 m wide. Plant Mahonia Sweet Winter in the sun or partial shade in a normal, rich, well-drained soil. Sweet Winter is an evergreen and can be pruned in the spring. Great for mass planting, for in the garden or in a container on the balcony or terrace. Hardy to -20 °C.
