Syringa Little Rosie stands out with darker leaves than most Syringa in the range, and her short branches make for a very compact habit. The dark pink foliage looks wonderful throughout summer and autumn but creates an especially wonderful scene once combined with the fragrant cherry-pink flowers that appear in springtime.

Compact as she is, Little Rosie is ideal for smaller gardens, pots and containers. She will only grow up to 100 cm high after 5 years! The short branches and compact habit also mean that Little Rosie hardly requires any looking after.

Little Rosie is a very compact Syringa that requires little maintenance other than a quick prune after flowering if desired. Little Rosie prefers a spot in well-drained soil in full sun to semi-shade and is hardy up to -28 ºC.
