Pittosporum tenuifolium Beach Ball ('TREW01'PBR) EU 61731
Heesters
Description
We’re thrilled to welcome Pittosporum Beach Ball to the assortment, as it will surely set the tone for the current range. Unlike similar varieties, Beach Ball’s compact, dense, rounded habit requires no pruning to maintain its naturally round shape. The dark stems bear small, glossy, light green foliage when young, turning grey-green as the foliage matures. In late spring and early summer, the foliage will be contrasted with an abundance of small, fragrant, purple flowers.
Pittosporum Beach Ball’s naturally compact and thick growth habit makes it the ideal low-growing evergreen shrub for edging, flower borders and beds, city and courtyard gardens, cottage gardens, hedging and screens! The dense foliage and little need for and ease of pruning makes it ideal for topiary projects.
