Description

Pittosporum Bannow Bay gives a different colour to the garden all year round. In spring and early summer, the young foliage is olive green with cream-white edges. In summer the colour changes to pink, cream-white and green, and in winter the leaves are pink with purple. The growth habit is compact, round and bushy. Bannow Bay is after 4 years approx. 100 cm high and 60 cm wide. Because Bannow Bay has a naturally round growth habit, pruning is almost unnecessary. Plant Bannow Bay in a well-drained soil. In full sun, the colour of Bannow Bay comes into its own best, but this evergreen shrub can also be placed in partial shade. A perfect addition to the border, but also very suitable for topiary pruning, hedges or in a pot on a terrace or balcony. Hardy to -10 ºC.
