Description

The young foliage of Leucothoe Curly Gold is orange-red. As the leaf ages, this colour changes to golden yellow and then to golden yellow with green. Not only the colours of the leaves are beautiful, also the twisted foliage shape is very special. Curly Gold becomes about 60 cm high and 40 cm wide. This evergreen shrub grows well in an acidic, moist, permeable soil and can be planted in both full sun and semi-shade. The habit is dense and compact. Curly Gold is a beautiful plant for the garden, as an accent plant or for in pot on balcony or terrace. Hardy to -22 ºC.
