Description

Hydrangea Red Velvet is a showstopper from the first bloom to the last. Its large, full flower panicles open creamy white, gradually deepening into a spectacular dark pink, while the tips stay white and create a striking two-tone effect. The abundant blooms are held by strong branches above the charming, dark green foliage.

Highly floriferous and beautifully structured, Red Velvet flowers from mid-summer through early autumn. The dense, conical panicles add impressive volume and texture, whether grown in planters or combined with other flowering shrubs. With its strong stems, upright habit, and reliable garden performance, Red Velvet delivers lasting impact season after season.

How to care for Hydrangea Red Velvet:
Hydrangea Red Velvet grows up to 100 cm high and 80 cm wide and prefers a spot in full sun to semi-shade, though it prefers full sun. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil and prune in early spring. Hydrangea Red Velvet is hardy up to -30 ºC.
