Heesters
Description
This new Abelia Pink Pong has a particularly long flowering period. From May to October you can enjoy the prolific bloom with the relatively large, violet-pink, bell-shaped flowers. After flowering, the purple base (calyx) remains visible, which creates a beautiful autumn combination with the green foliage. This evergreen shrub is easy to grow and very attractive to bees and butterflies. Pink Pong is compact and becomes approx. 1.40m high and 1.20m wide. Pink Pong can be placed both in the full sun and in the semi-shade and in all types, well-drained soils. Abelia Pink Pong is a beautiful plant for balcony or terrace, for the shrub border, for mass planting and even for a medium high hedge. Prune the old branches slightly in the spring. Hardy to -15 ºC.
