Plantipp and Piante Faro agreed to promote Syzygium australe Etna Fire® in Europe


Few days before the official inauguration of Radicepura Garden Festival (Giarre, Catania, Italy. From April till October 2019) Piante Faro hosted Plantipp to sign and announce the collaboration for the promotion of Syzygium australe Etna Fire (‘Crysyred’PBR) EU 49179 to the European market. Reinier and Peter van Rijssen (Plantipp Holland), together with Jean Pouillart (Globe Planter / Plantipp France, Spain, Portugal) and Matteo Ragni (Plantipp Italy) and Michele Faro  of Piante Faro (Italy) decided to collaborate for the promotion of Syzygium Etna Fire. Syzygium australe Etna Fire is a great Mediterranean bush interesting for the glossy, dark red foliage color. Etna Fire is a perfect plant for evergreen hedges in Mediterranean countries. Perfect in pot as patio plant Etna Fire® has a great resistance to dry climate and disease. Piante Faro is the leading nursery in Europe for the production of Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants. Currently the company cultivate different varieties and sizes on a total surface of 600 hectares, exporting into 60 different countries, for big landscaping projects and for the most important retail chains.
