Morus rotundiloba Charlotte Russe ('Matsunaga'PBR) won the prestigious title “Plant of the year 2017” at the Chelsea Flower Show. Charlotte Russe is a compact mulberry that gives a lot of fruit on new wood. An excellent fruit shrub for smaller gardens or the terrace. Plantipp is extremely proud to be the manager of this winner that was found by breeder Hajime Matsunaga from Japan and is exclusively available at Sutton's. In 2018 Charlotte Russe will be introduced in the rest of Europe under the name "Mojo Berry". Clematis ‘Taiga’, also managed by Plantipp, was fourth in the competition. This beauty has amazing flowers and is bred by Shigeaki Ochiai. Plantipp is thrilled with this outcome!
