It’s what we all (or at least some of us) have been waiting for: the reveal of Pantone’s Colour of the Year. We’re thrilled with the flower-friendly Viva Magenta 18-1750 colour this year. A vibrant colour deeply rooted in nature - and as you might’ve expected, we have some spectacular varieties to match!

Sedum Sunsparkler® Wildfire & Dream Dazzler
Wildfire and Dream Dazzler are fairly new additions to the Sunsparkler® Sedum series. They are very fast branching and compact and beautiful all year through. These specific selections also have beautiful variegated foliage and intensely coloured flowers. Matching up perfectly with Viva Magenta.

Cordyline Charlie Boy and Pink Star
Two striking Cordyline that have a few things in common. Firstly, they are strong, grow with the speed of light and dazzle anyone who looks at them. The second thing is their breathtaking foliage colours. The variegated leaves of both Pink Star and Charlie Boy add up perfectly with Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Viva Magenta.

Sempervivum Coral Red
If this beauty doesn’t hit the nail on its head, we don’t know which variety does. Coral Red is a beautiful, strong Sempervivum in a bright red colour. Like all Belgicactus Sempervivum, Coral Red is famous for its winter hardiness, strong rooting system and good branching. This Coral Red draws plenty of attention in the rock garden.

Buddleja Butterfly Candy® Little Ruby
Last but not least: Little Ruby. Buddleja Butterfly Candy is a very floriferous series. The flowers have a light, sweet fragrance and are very attractive to butterflies and bees. All the varieties are well-branched and ideal for containers and smaller gardens because of their size. Buddleja Butterfly Candy Little Ruby has outstanding ruby-red flowers that seem to be a near-perfect match with Viva Magenta.
