Description

Yucca ‘Mellow Yellow’ brings bold structure and year-round colour to the garden. Its lime green leaves are edged with bright golden yellow, creating a vibrant architectural display. The upright stem and gracefully arching foliage give ‘Mellow Yellow’ a softer appearance than many traditional yucca, while tall panicles of ivory white flowers appear in late spring to add seasonal interest.

Once established, Yucca ‘Mellow Yellow’ requires very little maintenance and is highly tolerant of dry conditions. ‘Mellow Yellow’ is very well suited for large containers on patios, terraces and balconies, for sunny, low-maintenance gardens, as a feature plant in Mediterranean-style gardens, gravel and rock gardens, and contemporary landscapes in mild climates.

Yucca ‘Mellow Yellow’ prefers a spot in full sun in well-drained soil and grows up to 120 cm high and 80 to 100 cm wide. Hardy to around -15 °C.
