Ulmus minor Vada® ('Wanoux'PBR) EU 24403

Trees

Description

Isolated, selected and tested at the INRA in France. Vada has been noticed in 1983 in a planting in the Forest Park Vincennes near Paris. Vada is very resistant to the Dutch Elm disease, but will also not be bothered by insects, fungi or summer drought. Vada has an upright growth, rather slender and higher than Lutece®. For a mature tree the height is 15 m to 20 m. Can be grown in any type of soil. You can plant the Vada in full sun, partial shade or shade. Because of the high resistance and upright growth habit Vada is an ideal tree, solitary or in a row.

Key Points

  1. Resistent against Dutch Elm disease
