Diervilla Honey Surprise is a magnet for butterflies and bees. And not just for insects: with its strikingly colored foliage, this plant attracts the attention of everyone! In spring Honey Surprise has silver green, variegated foliage; in summer the foliage is green with yellow and orange. The new shoots are orange. Honey Surprise blooms richly with yellow flowers. The shrub has a nice compact and bushy structure. Honey Surprise becomes about 80 cm high and 100 cm wide. Honey Surprise is disease tolerant and requires little maintenance. Diervilla Honey Surprise gives a beautiful colour accent in the shrub border but is also ideal for mass planting. Also as a solitary on terrace or patio Honey Surprise catches the eye.
