Description

We’re proud to introduce the impressive Clematis Guernsey Flute by renowned Clematis breeder Raymond J. Evison. The exquisite large star-shaped, pure white flowers – some 12-14 cm across – with red anthers, are formed from May through to July, with reliable repeat flowering into September.

Clematis Guernsey Flute is truly unique. It has a charming quirk of keeping its flower buds open for longer, almost like a champagne flute, hence the use of "flute" in its name. As the flowers mature, they open up completely, displaying thick, pointed sepals and a generous flower size. With its compact growth and height ranging from 90-120 cm, this Clematis would be a fantastic addition to your patio. It would also look great in the middle or front of a flower border, where you can fully enjoy its long-lasting succession of blooms.

How to care for Clematis Guernsey Flute:
Guernsey Flute grows up to 90-120 cm high each season. This Clematis in the Raymond Evison range, represents a new generation Clematis, flowers effortlessly and rewards gardeners with magnificent results using relatively straightforward pruning techniques. As we approach late winter or early spring, all you need to do is trim back the stems to 15 cm above ground level. Guernsey Flute is hardy to -15 ºC.
