Clematis Eliza ('EviGsy158') PBRPending
Klimplanten
Description
Clematis Eliza is a large-flowered variety that opens in soft pale violet-blue before maturing to pure white, highlighted by contrasting deep red-tipped anthers. The ruffled, gently wavy blooms are produced from late spring to early summer, with repeat flowering from late summer onwards. Flowers are carried generously from the base of the plant to the tip, creating a full and highly decorative display.
With a compact habit and a mature height of 90–120 cm, Eliza is well suited to patios, containers, and the mid to front of borders. It performs particularly well on obelisks or when grown through supporting plants, where its long flowering period can be fully appreciated.
How to care for Clematis Eliza:
Clematis Eliza has an upright, climbing habit and prefers a spot in fertile, moist soil with good drainage in full sun. Pruning is straightforward. In late winter or early spring, all stems can be reduced to around 15 cm above soil level. Clematis Eliza is hardy to –15 °C.
