Description

Ilex Gentle is a low maintenance shrub you enjoy enormously. The fine leaf has a purple colour from autumn to spring. In the summer the foliage colours green. This Ilex flowers abundantly in spring with white flowers. Ilex Gentle becomes about 70 cm tall and 50 cm wide and is hardy to -25 ºC. Plant Gentle in a fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Prune in the summer. This evergreen shrub is doing wonderful as a solitary on your terrace, in the border, in a mixed container or in mass planting.
