Asters are a favourite when adding late summer and autumn colours to the landscape. Undemanding and thriving in any type of soil, Aster ‘Starshine’ is one of the most popular asters worldwide. This unique selection is highly mildew resistant and produces masses of white daisy-like flowers from summer until the first frost.

The white daisy flowers reveal a golden-yellow eye that attracts pollinators from far and wide. The flowers can also be cut and added to fresh or dried arrangements. The combination of its strength, habit and long blooming period made ‘Starshine’ receive the Award of Merit from the Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society (KVBC). With a compact, mound-forming habit, Aster ‘Starshine’ is ideal for massed plantings, containers or the perennial garden.

How to care for Aster ‘Starshine’:
Aster ‘Starshine’ grows up to 60 cm high and wide, is quite undemanding and will grow in most soils. Plant in either full sun or partial shade. Aster ‘Starshine’ is fully hardy up to -20 ºC.
