Opis
Elaeagnus Taneo makes an excellent hedge! The dark olive green leaves with copper-brown undersides make for a nice, warm combination of colours. The young shoots and stems display a similar warm brown colour, making it resemble natural tan leather. With dense growth and relatively compact, even and regular growth habit, this well-branched, dense plant makes for an excellent hedging plant and evergreen garden shrub.
Elaeagnus Taneo is drought resistant and is resilient enough to resist sea air, strong winds, and pollution. This adaptable, bee-friendly variety boasts small, fragrant flowers in autumn. It makes excellent landscaping and hedging plants, patio plants, or garden shrubs for urban, industrial, and coastal areas. Thanks to its well-branched, dense habit, this neat and tight plant requires little to no maintenance.
How to care for Elaeagnus Taneo:
After five years, Elaeagnus Taneo grows up to 3 meters high. It thrives in any well-drained soil and can be planted in sun or semi-shade. This upright, bushy shrub is hardy to -15 ºC.
