Description

New for 2023 is the stunning Perovskia Prime Time: an early season blooming Russian sage with large, dense lavender-purple flower spikes and grey-green aromatic foliage. Not only is Prime Time an early bloomer, the flower spikes actually retain their colour well into fall. Making for long-lasting colour from July all the way through October.

Prime Time has a dense, upright habit with strong, upright stems. Its slightly dissected foliage gives it a very full and bushy appearance. This perennial is perfect for hot and dry climates, but thanks to its exceptional cold hardiness, it can be used in pretty much any kind of environment. Prime Time has a vigorous growth rate, is pollinator-friendly and hardly requires any maintenance other than a quick prune come springtime - making it ideal for any landscape design.

How to care for Perovskia Prime Time:
Perovskia Prime Time is as strong as they get: drought-resistant, exceptionally cold hardy and very low maintenance. It will thrive in both full sun and semi-shade, but prefers the sun. Plant this Russian sage in well-drained soil and it will liven up any perennial border, rock garden, container or heather garden. Hardy to -12 ºC.
