The softer spines, also inherited from Manfreda, make Mad about Mangave® easy to handle. The Mad about Mangave® collection offers a wide range of varieties with fascinating shapes and eye-catching colours.

Mad about Mangave® varieties are fast growers. Once they have reached the desired size, water sparingly. Mangaves thrive in a sunny spot, where their vibrant colours and distinctive leaf patterns develop to their fullest. Mad about Mangave® looks stunning as a specimen plant in a pot or container and is also perfect for mixed succulent arrangements. Plant Mad about Mangave® in well-drained soil. ‘Mint Chocolate Chip’ has long, silvery blue-green leaves that are succulent, but not as rigid as Agave. Near-black spotting is present on both the fronts and backsides of the leaves and contrasts beautifully with the lighter colored leaves. A very fine white margin lines the edges of the leaves that have a serrated edge.
