Pittosporum Green Mound is a compact, evergreen shrub with a dense, rounded habit creating a naturally neat green mound. Green Mound holds its shape without the need for pruning. In late spring, clusters of white flowers emerge and gradually turn yellow-orange, releasing a pleasant fragrance that carries well through the garden.

As an intergeneric crossing between Pittosporum tobira and heterophyllum, best of both species are combined in Pittosporum Green Mound, resulting in a strong tolerance to heat, drought, and colder conditions and performs reliably across a wide range of climates. The glossy green foliage provides year-round structure, while the abundant flowering adds seasonal interest and attracts pollinators such as bees. Great in borders, pots, fragrant landscapes and low hedging.

Pittosporum Green Mound grows up to 150 cm high and wide and prefers a spot in well-drained soil in full sun to semi-shade. Evergreen and hardy to –13 °C.
