Gardenia Pinwheel has large, scented, snow white, single flowers in the form of a pinwheel. This unique shape stands out against the shiny dark green leaves. Pinwheel blooms in late spring until early summer and sometimes again in early autumn. Gardenia Pinwheel has a compact, rounded habit and becomes approx. 75 cm high and wide. Plant Pinwheel in the sun or semi-shade in a humus-rich, moist but well-permeable soil. Give extra fertilizer in the summer. Pinwheel is a beautiful plant for landscaping, mass planting, for in the shrub border or for a pot on balcony or terrace. This evergreen shrub is hardy to -10 ºC.
