Clematis Queen's Nurse ('EviGsy159') PBRPending
Klimplanten
Descrizione
Clematis Queen’s Nurse produces full flowers with each sepal marked by a broad central band of deep rosy pink, softened by paler edges and accented with prominent primrose-coloured anthers. Flowering begins in late spring and early summer, followed by repeat blooms in late summer and early autumn. The plant flowers freely from base to tip, creating a dense and impactful display.
Blooms formed on older wood tend to show deeper, almost solid colouring, while flowers on new growth display a more pronounced central bar with lighter-edged petals. As part of the modern Raymond Evison collection, Queen’s Nurse combines strong flowering performance with easy maintenance.
How to care for Clematis Queen’s Nurse:
Clematis Queen’s Nurse has an upright, climbing habit and prefers fertile, moist soil with good drainage in full sun. Pruning is simple. In late winter or early spring, stems can be cut back to approximately 15 cm above soil level. Clematis Queen’s Nurse is deciduous and hardy to –15 °C.
