Just like her sister Princess Leia, Ajuga Princess Elsa is a much-loved ground-covering perennial. She’s pollinator-friendly (bees adore her!) and flowers abundantly from April all the way through to June: providing long garden interest for gardens all over the world.

• As if her bee-friendlyness isn’t enough reason to fall in love: evergreen Princess Elsa is strong, heat tolerant and very low maintenance as well. Her low, creeping habit make her the ideal ground cover to add a splash of colour to perennial borders, mass plantings or balcony’s and patio’s! Princess Elsa is an incredibly fast grower and her interesting metallic silvery-green foliage is proudly crowned with elegant blue-purple flowers throughout early spring and summer.

• How to care for Ajuga Princess Elsa: This beautiful perennial prefers well-drained soil and a spot in the sun or (semi) shade. Princess Elsa grows up to 15 cm high and 25 cm wide, and is hardy to -30 ºC.
